  • outdoor work experience or commercial kitchen-work is preferred

We offer hands-on experience in all aspects of farm practices, including:

  • organic, no-till soil care

  • plant propagation from seed cuttings and divisions

  • seeding and transplanting

  • interplanting/undersowing

  • weed management and tarping

  • crop planning and rotation

  • irrigation design and management

  • perennial garden design and management

  • harvesting vegetables and cut flowers and post-harvest handling

  • direct marketing and customer relations

Nursery Crew

  • Early/late spring season: Mar-June, part-time, flexible hours available (potential for full season work if joining field crew)

  • Seeding, transplanting, potting, watering, labeling, maintenance

  • Able to easily lift 30-40 lbs

  • Setting up farm store

  • Helping with retail sales in nursery greenhouses

  • Cleaning, organizing and restocking nursery greenhouses

  • Learn farm systems and strive for efficiencies

  • Help with field work when needed

  • Commitment for full season: May-November, part-time hours

  • Seeding, transplanting, weeding, thinning and harvesting crops

  • Harvesting vegetables and cut flowers

  • Weighing, packaging, washing, grading produce for market sales

  • Maintaining chickens: feeding, collecting eggs, cleaning nests

  • Able to easily lift 50 lbs

  • Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions for long periods of time, bending and kneeling

  • Learn farm systems and strive for efficiencies

  • Help with nursery work when needed

  • Part-time position: 1-2 days a week, 7 hour day

  • Must have a valid drivers license and working phone

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs

  • Packing, unloading truck full of produce

  • Setting up tables, tent, signage at market, according to farm standards

  • Interact with customers and manage POS
